We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Mother Baby to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
- Serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.
- Mentor and support team members as they provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and healthy infants.
- Provide day-to-day clinical management of the unit, maintaining customer satisfaction (patient, visitors, physicians, and staff).
- Perform therapeutic patient-centered nursing care to delivering mothers and participate in patient and family education.
- Support personnel management functions such as interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, performance management, and scheduling.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- 3+ years of current nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- 1 year of labor and delivery and/or mother baby nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting preferred.
