Job Title: Biology Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Teacher to join our team at Peoria Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to high school students and will be expected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology to high school students
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field
• Valid Illinois teaching certificate
• Experience teaching Biology to high school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
