Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Commerce, CA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical defects using touch, sight, and sound.
  • Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues.
  • Proactively inspect equipment and report any issues for corrective action.
  • Safely operate shop tools and equipment to repair or fabricate parts.
  • Manage work orders, gather parts and tools, and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and job safety regulations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
  • Valid Driver's License/Clean driving record.
