About the Opportunity
Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Fairfield County. As a Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine professional, you will provide high-quality outpatient services to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical services under the supervision of a physician, including diagnostic testing and medication management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as spirometry and FeNO, to determine abnormal conditions.
- Prescribe medication for patients and monitor their progress to make necessary adjustments to treatment.
- Document and update patient records to ensure accurate and timely care.
Requirements
- Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in CT is required.
- Eligibility to be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required for Nurse Practitioners.
