Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled School Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. As a School Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a vital role in ensuring equal access to education for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. You will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to provide high-quality interpretation services that facilitate effective communication and promote academic success.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate and reliable sign language interpretation services in a middle school setting
- Working collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure seamless communication
- Developing and maintaining relationships with school staff and community members
- Staying up-to-date with best practices in sign language interpretation and special education

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid School Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or in process in state of practice
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
