Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide services for school-age students in a dynamic and supportive school setting. As an Occupational Therapist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with students ranging from grades K-12, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and school staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Active or pending NY state OT license.
• Previous experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
