Cartographic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cartographic Specialist to join our team at TRI STATE CONSULTING SERVICES. This full-time position involves performing a variety of mapping and title functions in preparation of a county-wide property tax roll.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about geographic information systems (GIS) and wants to utilize their skills to make a difference in the community. As a Cartographic Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting parcel identification data, locating properties in multiple states from deeds, plats, and wills, and performing mapping and computer work in preparation and maintenance of property maps using ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate will have three years of experience or a combination of on-the-job training and education equal to three years with drafting, cadastral mapping, or surveying. They must also be able to read, understand, and work from plats, deeds, legal descriptions, and drawings.
