About the Role:
The Menta Education Group is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Menta Academy Iroquois. As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will play a vital role in helping students with special needs develop the skills they need to succeed in day-to-day life and work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide educational direction and support to students who may be experiencing confusion, frustration, or emotional upset.
- Develop and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and progress reports for student caseloads.
- Deliver Occupational Therapy-related services as outlined in the IEP.
- Maintain accurate related service logs, updated on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP-directed.
Qualifications:
- Current State Occupational Therapy License.
- Registration with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Ability to work with students who have Emotional Disturbance (ED), Behavioral Disorder (BD), Other Health Impairment (OHI), Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), or Other Health Impairment (OHI).
