Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the planning, directing, and coordination of daily operations for a program or a collection of programs.
  • Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of how various areas integrate within the subfunction and aligns with the broader objectives of the organization.
  • Evaluates the development and approval of program documentation, including the program plan, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, and issue log.
  • Ensures program plans align with business requirements as outlined in initiation documents.
  • Identifies and engages all stakeholders in scope definition and ensures they are aware of the program timeline and significant milestones.
  • Collaborates with the Program Sponsor to ensure that the business case and cost-benefit analysis align with organizational goals.
  • Ensures adequate staffing across all program areas.
  • Monitors commitment levels from resource assigners.
  • Escalates program risks to the Program Director or Program Sponsor as necessary.
  • Develops a comprehensive program risk management strategy.
  • Works alongside the procurement team to create, manage, and finalize program contracts.
  • Recommends training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Assesses the performance of team members and provides recommendations for promotions, pay adjustments, and other personnel decisions.
  • Leads the supported area by ensuring delivery of outcomes and sharing responsibility for budget management, while being accountable for resource allocation.
  • Ensures compliance with essential procedures and contributes to the establishment of standards.
  • Evaluates risks associated with business decisions, emphasizing the importance of the organization's reputation and safeguarding assets by adhering to applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills with external stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience supporting governance activities in Capital Markets and Portfolio Management.
