We are excited to introduce our Welding Apprentice Program. In just six weeks, you will acquire the skills to weld our custom towing and truck accessories under the guidance of Certified Welding Instructors.

This program is compensated. Upon successful completion, you will advance to a Welder 1 position and receive a salary increase. Classes are available during the first shift.


Role of the Welding Apprentice:

As a Welding Apprentice, you will learn and hone welding techniques to align and fit fabricated steel structures according to engineering specifications. No prior experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Arrive to class punctually.

• Come prepared to learn.

• Adhere to appropriate dress code for the production environment (long pants, steel-toed footwear, metatarsal guards).

• Listen attentively and follow instructions.

• Inquire when clarification is needed.

• Maintain a safe and tidy workspace by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.

Work Environment:
• Fast-paced manufacturing setting.

• Classroom-based instruction.

Qualifications:

Experience:
No previous experience necessary. Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

Technical Skills:
Basic computer skills are beneficial.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday; must be able to lift between 50 to 75 pounds regularly, and up to 90 pounds occasionally.
