- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Assist patients with completing forms and paperwork, providing clear and concise instructions.
- Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software, using it to manage patient records and schedules.
- Answer multiple phone lines, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and coverage.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including copying, filing, and faxing, as needed.
- Comply with patient needs at all times, ensuring their questions are answered and concerns addressed.
- Maintain procedure rooms, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
- Assist doctors during procedures, following instructions and individual preferences.
- Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and support.
- Ensure patients receive post-procedure instructions and medication information, as needed.
- Monitor supply levels and replace as needed.
- Train new staff members, as required.
- Assist ultrasound staff, as needed.
- Transport supplies or equipment, as required.
- Work overtime, as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Receptionist or healthcare experience required.
- Spanish and English language proficiency required.
- Weekend availability required.
