Job Summary

Herbein + Company, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our dynamic tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on tax planning, compliance, and reporting. Your expertise will help our clients effectively manage their tax obligations and achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple tax engagements and provide innovative tax planning and consulting services to clients
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Lead and mentor tax staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work product
  • Collaborate with internal managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with IRS and other taxing authority regulations and standards, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Licensed, active CPA
  • 8+ years of current or recent public accounting tax and estate experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks on a timely basis
  • Detail-focused and driven to achieve high standards
  • Proficient in utilizing tax software and overall computer skills
