The Associate will handle guest reservations and provide information regarding slips, costs, and other relevant details. Regular inventory checks and adherence to cash handling protocols are also key responsibilities.

About the Marina Environment

Teamwork is essential in our marina operations. As a member of the marina team, you will be trained to perform a variety of tasks across different operational areas. Flexibility and a willingness to assist others are crucial traits for success in this role. Team members often engage in multiple functions, especially during peak times or emergencies, and must be ready to collaborate beyond their usual responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily retail operations within the marina store.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that surpasses expectations.
  • Operate point of sale (POS) systems, completing necessary paperwork and inventory counts.
  • Receive and manage stock inventory, assisting with organization and record-keeping.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, following a daily cleaning checklist.
  • Process exchanges, returns, and refunds in line with company policies.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, spills, or near misses promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating versatility and commitment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a marina setting is a plus.

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.

Work Schedule:

Marinas operate seven days a week, typically from morning until sunset. Flexibility in scheduling is encouraged, but weekend availability is required to ensure adequate staffing for guest needs.
