About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dishware Specialist to join our team at Piesanos Tallahassee LLC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and sort used dishes, utensils, and equipment from dining and kitchen areas.
• Operate industrial washing machines to clean and sanitize dishes, glasses, and equipment.
• Wash specific items by hand, such as cutting boards, pots, and pans.
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment in designated areas.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and order replacements as needed.
• Monitor washing machines' operation and report any technical issues.
• Ensure neat and organized work areas, including sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be at least 18 years old at time of hire.
• Availability to work morning shifts, weekends, and evenings.
• Good time management skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This role entails frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold. You will also be required to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds above waist level.
