We are looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ali Leasing LLC.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This will involve routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake adjustments, tire changes, electrical system checks, and HVAC repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and safety checks to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, suspension, and drive line systems.
  • Weld and fabricate parts when necessary to repair or modify trucks and trailers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of vehicles and equipment.
  • Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used accurately and maintain detailed records.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop area.
  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize and complete repair work in accordance with scheduling requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a heavy-duty truck and trailer mechanic.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingsness to work flexible hours and handle emergency repairs when necessary.
Salary

The salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
