Supervisor Clinic Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Clinic Nurse RN to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our clinic leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, assigning, coordinating, and controlling nursing care within the scope of licensure and services for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the Clinic Manager, Medical Director, and other staff to set appropriate goals for the clinic.
- Coordinate nursing operations and activities to ensure efficient and quality service, ensuring compliance with regulations and clinic standards of quality patient care and patient confidentiality.
- Obtain and record vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications, and presenting problem.
- Administer ordered medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intradermal routes, start intravenous lines, and administer intravenous fluids with appropriate certification.
- Supervise all aspects of employee management, including selection, orientation, training, and staffing of the nursing staff.
- Conduct employee performance appraisals for supervised staff, setting individual goals and follow-up as outlined in policies and procedures.
- Review departmental supply requisitions, oversee records and reports, track and analyze nurse staff expenses, and prepare, recommend, and monitor departmental budget, goals, and objectives.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing approved by the WA State Board of Nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Previous supervisory/lead experience preferred.
- Within the last five- (5) years, three- (3) years of nursing experience in a clinic setting or five- (5) years of acute hospital nursing experience preferred.
