Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Warehouse Driver to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering compressed gas cylinders and industrial goods to customers on a scheduled route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Class A, Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed gas cylinders and industrial goods to customers
  • Pick up empty cylinders from customer sites and record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest
  • Resolve service inquiries and complaints from customers
  • Load and unload truck, perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections, and maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations, communicate effectively with customers, and provide information on cost, ordering, and delivery times
  • Maintain load manifests, barcodes, FDA lot numbers, and other vehicle documents
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed and report any accidents or injuries to management
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
Requirements
  • Class A Commercial Drivers' License with HAZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Clean MVR
  • Ability to perform heavy work, lift 25-75 pounds, and occasionally lift 76-100 pounds
  • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion required
  • Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
  • Must be able to safely drive a forklift
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent
