- Infection Control: Practice Universal Infection Control Precautions in all contacts with patients to prevent the spread of infections.
- Home Maintenance: Assist patients with light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks as prescribed in their care plan.
- Transfer and Mobility: Use safe transfer, ambulation, normal range of motion, and positioning techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Confidentiality and Autonomy: Respect patients' autonomy and right to confidentiality at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care provided and submit documentation in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established agency policies and procedures.
- Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; training in home health care or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
