Key Responsibilities

The CT Technologist will:

  • Execute computerized tomographic scans in accordance with established protocols.
  • Accurately prepare and position patients while selecting appropriate technical parameters.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as per regulatory standards.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any irregularities.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines.
Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • Current BLS certification within one month of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentials from the appropriate examining board.
  • One of the following:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech certification or CT specialty certification.
    • Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography with additional specialties accepted.
    • Radiologic Technologist certification specializing in Computed Tomography.

Additionally, candidates should have:

  • A high school diploma with two years of relevant experience, an associate's degree, or four years of job-specific experience.
