Key Responsibilities- Comply with regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act-Anti Money Laundering, OFAC, US Patriot Act, Privacy Act, and Community Reinvestment Act.
- Attend trainings and meetings as assigned.
- Comply with the Bank's established loan policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular CRA calls and participate in community affairs to identify needs and enhance the Bank's CRA activities.
- Close loans in accordance with the Department's procedures.
- Follow up on all required covenants, including collection of annual tax returns, financial statements, and other information according to the Loan Agreement.
- Follow up on various insurance requirements attached to loans.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual loan reports for the Department.
- Order credit reports (Experian) and preliminary title reports as requested by loan officers.
- Prepare and review all loan documents necessary to close and disburse loans.
- Verify authorized signers and obtain signatures of borrowers/guarantors (Credit File & Documents).
- Maintain credit files for new, payoff, withdrawn, and declined files.
- Respond to routine loan inquiries.
- Monitor timeliness and adequacy of title policies, insurance declarations, UCC, and Mortgage recording, and report any discrepancies to the manager.
- Administer loan disbursement for line of credit and construction loans, including review of loan covenant, title update, and request for site inspection by 3rd party assessors.
- Process data changes as necessary (tickler system, loan control procedure, and term and conditions).
- Prepare and review various loan reports (ITI loan accounting system) as requested.
- Prepare and review loan files for audits.
- Administer past due loans, including preparation of past due notices and request for issuing a demand notice to the Bank's attorney.
- Review the Department's expense invoices and order supplies.
- Comply with the Bank's security program.
- Seek opportunities to grow relationships with customers.
- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3+ years
- Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: Yes
- Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Required: Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.
- Required: Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members.
- Required: Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
The salary range for this full-time position is $26.45 Hourly - $31.25 Hourly + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
