Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health & Safety remains the top priority by following established policies, processes, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our company operations, build relationships with colleagues, and participate in regular meetings, training workshops, and mentorship programs.
  • Navigate various departments to enhance teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Maintain awareness of all Company policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Gain knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, including CFR 49 and 40, and apply them to business operations.
  • Master software systems used for transportation management and assist dispatch and scheduling teams with order requests to maximize asset utilization.
  • Coordinate transportation activities between service centers to optimize resource allocation.
  • Support Business Unit performance analyses, tracking key performance indicators for safety, environmental compliance, quality, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high-quality customer relations and support daily operations management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Prior relevant internship, co-op, or practical experience mandatory.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative a must.
