Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Associate III to join our Logistics and Supply Chain Management team at Pfizer. This dynamic role involves managing the receipt, inspection, and storage of GMP raw materials and manufacturing aids for Manufacturing.

As an Inventory Control Associate III, you will work closely with our Quality Control team to complete shipments of samples and coordinate shipments of materials, drug substance, intermediates, and conjugated materials for QC. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of GMP raw materials and manufacturing aids into Oracle ERP system
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with shipment of samples and coordination of shipments of materials, drug substance, intermediates, and conjugated materials for QC
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of GMP Materials Management or biotech/pharma experience
  • Strong shipping skills; IATA/DOT 49 CFR certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and writing skills
  • Software aptitude, particularly with MS Office products and ERP solutions
  • Flexibility to work in a team setting or independently
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
