RedCliff Ascent: A Premier Wilderness Therapy Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Outdoor Expedition Leader to join our team at RedCliff Ascent. As an integral member of our wilderness therapy program, you will be responsible for leading groups of at-risk teenagers on immersive outdoor expeditions.

About the Position:

  • Lead 8-10 person groups on 8-day expeditions in the beautiful Utah wilderness
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that foster personal growth and skill-building in students
  • Collaborate with experienced guides and therapists to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain high standards of physical and emotional safety for all participants

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Current certification in Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
