Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team in Coos Bay. As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care services to our clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to reduce senior isolation
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Plan and prepare meals, as well as complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so successfully
  • Transport clients to and from appointments
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 6 months)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
