About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Home Health Registered Nurse to join our Internal Travel Nursing team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide staffing support to Home Health branches across the enterprise by fulfilling temporary staffing needs, as determined by regional and company-wide leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to Home Health agencies, as assigned by leadership, to provide staffing support and deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct initial OASIS assessments and ongoing comprehensive assessments of Skilled Home Health patients to identify their unique needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Initiate patient plans of care and reevaluate as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by the physician in the plan of care, and counsel patients and their families on meeting nursing and related needs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and communicate effectively with physicians and participate in interdisciplinary group meetings to meet the medical and emotional needs of patients and their families/caregivers.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited nursing school with a current license to practice in the state of residence.
  • Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) License.
  • Willingness to obtain additional state nursing licensure in non-compact states, as deemed necessary by leadership.
  • At least two years of Home Health nursing experience.
