Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech and language disorders in students from PreK through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders, and develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educational staff, parents, and specialists to support student development and ensure seamless communication.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain thorough records of therapy sessions and student progress, and participate in IEP meetings and other related activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, and valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience and Skills: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
