We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sports Medicine Professional to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. Our company is committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our patients, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence.
Job Responsibilities- Provide Athletic Services: As a Sports Medicine Professional, you will be responsible for providing athletic training services for various events and competitions. This includes coordinating, managing, and implementing medical and risk management protocols for athletes, as well as providing preventative and emergency care.
- Collaborate with Other Professionals: You will work closely with other JAG professionals, including physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care to our patients. This may involve referring patients for additional services or collaborating on treatment plans.
- Communicate Effectively: Effective communication is crucial in this role. You will need to communicate clearly and concisely with athletes, families, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and involved in the care process.
- Education and Certification: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training (CAATE-approved program) and completion of the BOC certification are required. Additionally, you must be licensed by the State of New York as an Athletic Trainer and maintain current BLS certification.
- Skills and Qualifications: We are looking for someone with excellent critical thinking skills, flexibility, and adaptability. You should be able to demonstrate speed, efficiency, and effectiveness in your work, as well as maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
