Job Overview

The Licensed Clinician is a critical role within Acenda Integrated Health, responsible for providing clinical services to students across various school districts. This position requires a high level of expertise in mental health, human services, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services, including screening, brief interventions, and treatment referrals, to students and their families.
  • Coordinate and integrate treatment with other therapists, psychiatry, case management, and other service providers, as needed.
  • Support the implementation of case review and school needs assessment processes, providing direct services to students and parents/caregivers.
  • Partner with the Hub Director to develop and implement mental health workplans and social/emotional learning assessments.
  • Ensure the timely and evidence-based delivery of clinical services for students within the Hub.
  • Counsel individuals, families, or groups in an outpatient setting, developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Must be licensed as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (LAMFT), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Experience implementing evidence-based treatment and prevention programs is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work with diverse, high-risk populations in need of support services and case management.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle, and an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preference for clinicians with previous training in Motivational Interviewing.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience working with and empowering at-risk youth and marginalized communities by conducting prevention education activities.
