Job Description

Resource Logistics is seeking a skilled Network Solutions Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement RF network solutions for customers in the VHF bands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy RF network solutions.
  • Manage inventory and ordering for projects.
  • Provide technical support and direction to customers on implementation of designs and standard processes.
  • Develop initiatives to improve the reliability of the radio network.
  • Coordinate and lead testing and troubleshooting efforts for customers.
  • Engage in regular contact with customers to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Engineering or an Engineering support function.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience in RF Network Engineering disciplines with an emphasis in the VHF Bands.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Railroad RF Communications.
  • Ability to be a technical strategic thought leader and a hands-on implementer.
  • Experience with Mentum Planet, Radio Soft, or similar RF Planning Software.
  • Experience using RF test equipment, specifically Anritsu or Freedom Communication.
  • Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
  • Experience creating process documentation and process flows.
  • Experience creating engineering drawings using Visio.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and crafting test plans and scripts.
