About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate to join our team at Bank of America. As a key member of our client team, you will be responsible for supporting the origination and execution of business transactions, working closely with internal partners to create client deliverables and respond to ad-hoc client requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support origination efforts, evaluation of new opportunities, and execution of deals, working on a broad scope of assignments for large-cap corporate clients in a global firm environment
  • Partner with Analysts, Associates, and Vice Presidents to build financial models and prepare client presentations and final work products, including due diligence questionnaires, working group lists, and lender presentations
  • Act as a key execution resource working closely with internal partners to create client deliverables and respond to ad-hoc client requests
  • Prepare recommendations on timing, size, and structure of business transactions and communicate findings to team members
  • Perform industry and company research to support business development and ad-hoc requests
  • Assist in coordinating and executing information in collaboration with industry/product groups
  • Manage several projects at once while working effectively as an individual and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Corporate Banking, with dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry
  • MBA degree with outstanding academic qualifications preferred
  • A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail, and client focus
  • Strategic and creative thinking skills; distinguished written and oral communications skills
  • Demonstrates assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, with the ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented – Manage and deliver high-quality, error-free work product on multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Prioritization/Time Management – Must work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented and flexible – Develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners
