Brake Technician

We are seeking a skilled Brake Technician to join our team at Jiffy Lube. As a Brake Technician, you will be responsible for performing brake services and installations associated with approved store products and services.

• Perform complete disc or drum brake service, including hydraulic repair/replacement, attaching hardware, front-end suspension, light drivetrain repair, wheel bearing service, anti-lock brake/electrical, and wheel/tire removal & replacement.
• Operate and maintain the Pro-Cut brake lathe.
• Examine and diagnose vehicles, compile repair-cost estimates, and secure customer approval to perform repairs.
• Repair, overhaul, and/or adjust automotive brake systems.
• Repair or replace defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes, and/or wheel bearings.

• Valid driver's license.
• A5 ASE brake certification.
• Able to read and write English.
• Team-player.

Jiffy Lube is in the customer service industry, and having a positive attitude at the service center is essential. As a Brake Technician, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and employees in a noisy environment.

• Work in extreme hot or cold weather, depending on season.
• Move quickly up and down stairs.
• Work around moving objects, such as vehicles and engines.
• Communicate well with other employees using a command system.
• Interact clearly with customers and employees in a noisy environment.
