Job Title: Intervention Specialist

Community Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team at our Bridgeport AIC program. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating positive change in client behavior through the facilitation of evidence-based group sessions.

Job Summary:

The Intervention Specialist will work closely with clients to help develop individual goals and make positive changes in their lives. This position will require the ability to facilitate group sessions, provide individual support, and work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate evidence-based group sessions to promote positive change in client behavior
  • Work closely with clients to develop individual goals and provide support to achieve those goals
  • Provide individual counseling sessions to address client personal issues and program performance
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Participate in quality assurance review sessions and apply new strategies and techniques presented
  • Register for and attend all required trainings and refreshers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus (1) year experience in domestic violence training and one year in experience in domestic violence group facilitation
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
