We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Manager to join our team at Cornerstone Trucking, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the flow of freight, supervising a team of logistics professionals, and ensuring the timely delivery of orders.

• Oversee the management of Cornerstone Trucking's assets, including freight equipment and personnel.

• Ensure that team members follow company policies and standards, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Provide regular freight updates to the team and management, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding order deliveries, providing exceptional customer service.
• Communicate equipment repair and maintenance requests to management, ensuring that all necessary work is completed in a timely manner.
• Manage freight paperwork, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Establish and enforce safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing shippers, contract carriers, and vendors.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the HR department to maintain office policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the IT department on all office equipment and technology.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
• Manage contract and price negotiations with vendors, ensuring that the company gets the best possible deals.
• Provide general support to the team, including scheduling, calendars, and appointments.
• Design and implement filing systems, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure that filing systems are maintained and current, with all necessary documents easily accessible.
• Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping, ensuring that all data is secure and confidential.
• Implement office policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members are aware of and follow them.
• Analyze and monitor internal processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
