Porter Scott, a leading civil litigation firm in Sacramento, is seeking a talented attorney to join our team. We are looking for a motivated and energetic self-starter with excellent writing, oral advocacy, and time-management skills. Prior law firm experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates should be members in good standing with the California State Bar.

The position offers competitive compensation, objective bonus opportunities, comprehensive medical benefits, 401k, flex-spending account, open PTO, paid Bar dues, CLE, the opportunity to work remotely, formal mentoring, and litigation training. Pay range is $105,000 to $140,000 DOE.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement defense strategies for clients.

  • Work collaboratively with partners and other associates to develop legal strategies.
  • Provide direction to supporting legal assistants, law clerks, and paralegals.
