Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist professional staff with administrative tasks, such as word processing, data entry, and document editing.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the coordination of Diocesan liturgical events and Curia-wide liturgies, requiring a comprehensive knowledge of liturgy.
  • Utilize computer software programs, including MS Office, to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent, with 2-3 years of experience in an administrative assistant capacity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Access, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in design and photo editing.
  • Working knowledge of liturgical ministry and/or experience in parish or diocesan ministry.
