Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, plus bonuses based on performance. Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, unlimited referral bonuses, and tuition reimbursement.
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred
- Live within 100 miles of Gary, IN
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
Responsibilities
As a CDL-A Freight Hauler with Schneider Intermodal, your primary responsibilities will include hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, primarily no-touch freight with a high percentage of drop-and-hook opportunities. You will also be responsible for driving in and out of railyards within IL, IN, MI, OH, and WI.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a regular work schedule, including paid time off after six months of service and six days of holiday pay per year.
