Overview:
Radiological Technician - Market Services
Summary:
Support the provision of occupational health services by executing radiological tasks and procedures as allowed by regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individuals for radiological examinations and capture X-ray images in accordance with established protocols.
Adhere to best practices that meet or surpass industry standards.
Generate high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a repeat rate of two percent or lower.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and complies with relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in managing patient flow and ensure necessary X-ray supplies are available.
Travel within the market to provide staffing support and on-site services.
Implement assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation protocols for the patient demographic.
Apply the Minimal Necessary Standard when handling protected health information.
Effectively communicate with Supervisors and Management during on-site operations.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Completion of a 6 Hour Radiation Safety Training course and/or current NCT, LMRT, LXMO, or RT licensure in good standing.
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities in both verbal and written formats.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, time management, follow-up, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to collaborate positively with diverse groups, fostering a "TEAM" environment and leading by example.
Willingness to travel as necessary.
Flexibility in scheduling as required.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance that meets state minimum standards.
Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
