Residential Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Advisor to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in our dormitory setting, ensuring a positive and productive living environment.

• Provide guidance and support to students to achieve their goals and objectives
• Determine and recommend student visits to counselors
• Assist in unit activities, including unit government
• Patrol and monitor dormitories to ensure safety and proper behavior of students
• Prepare daily operations reports and administrative correspondence
• Direct students and assist in cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory
• Recommend supplies to provide needs for dorm living and safety of students
• Maintain dormitory and individual student files
• Enter student case notes in the center information system
• Participate in career development services by ensuring a safe living environment

We are looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of experience in a Job Corps or related program. A valid in-State Driver's License is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be able to lift 40 pounds and assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance.
