Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our transport team. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need.

Job Summary:

The EMT will be responsible for administering basic and advanced life support to patients at the scene, en route to the hospital, and in a pre-hospital setting. This includes assessing the nature and extent of injury or illness, rescuing and extricating victims, and treating patients according to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer basic and advanced life support to patients
  • Assess the nature and extent of injury or illness
  • Rescue and extricate victims
  • Treat patients according to federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Communicate with medical personnel and treatment facilities
  • Maintain order at scenes
  • Complete patient care forms and other documentation
Requirements:
  • PA certified EMT
  • 6 months or more experience as an EMT preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • EVOC/EVDT certification
  • Driver requirements (PA DOH Requirement)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule:

Full-time or per-diem positions available. Various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
