Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Project Coordinator to oversee a range of construction projects from inception to completion. This permanent role involves managing various project aspects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project plans that align customer needs with organizational objectives, coordinating with various managers and technical personnel throughout all project phases.
  • Continuously monitor project progress and provide detailed reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to foster collaboration, identify challenges, devise solutions, and implement efficiency enhancements.
  • Review proposed changes to project plans, engaging with relevant parties to approve and enact beneficial modifications.
  • Oversee the procurement of resources and materials required for projects by liaising with customers, team members, and in-house accountants.
  • Anticipate future project details through direct communication with clients and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning tasks and clarifying expected deliverables.
  • Utilize project management tools to monitor project performance and adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct risk assessments for project activities and implement strategies for risk mitigation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the construction sector.
- Proven ability to creatively solve problems.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience managing projects through their entire lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, demonstrating resourcefulness.
- Proven track record of completing projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams.
- Experience in contract management and budgeting.
- Understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- PMP or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
