Job Description:

The Plant Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing leadership team, including Plant Operations, Engineering, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS). They will manage all non-union manufacturing activities, business metrics, and order fulfillment, ensuring that safety, environmental, customer service, and cost goals are met or exceeded.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage yield, labor efficiency, and overhead expenses to optimize production costs
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to meet or exceed KPIs for safety, environment, customer service, and cost
  • Foster an ownership culture within the plant through hands-on leadership and employee engagement
  • Evaluate and implement quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic insights and feedback on company direction
Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Director who can lead our manufacturing operations to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex manufacturing operations, developing and implementing operational strategies, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high levels of performance. A strong understanding of lean principles, process mapping, and standard work practices is essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in Plant Operations with a Food and Beverage manufacturing company, is required. Proficiency in Excel, Word, SAP, and PowerPoint is also necessary.

A competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per year is offered, reflecting the importance of this role in driving business success.
