About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team at Solis Mammography. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for the daily clinical operations of our centers, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies as needed
  • Monitors clinical staffing levels and ensures adequate coverage
  • Provides excellent patient care and communicates procedures to new and existing clinical team members
  • Effectively handles patient complaints and escalates as necessary
  • Assists with MQSA compliance and ensures compliance with all Policies and Procedures
  • Coordinates service and maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime
  • Acts as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient and team member information
Requirements
  • Current, non-restricted licensure in the state of work location
  • Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Exhibits sound judgment and maintains a calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations
