Overview:
The Anesthesia Technician plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional indirect patient care by offering technical assistance to anesthesia professionals and the surgical team. This position ensures that all anesthesia equipment and supplies are maintained in optimal condition and readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests in the Anesthesia Blood Gas Lab, providing timely lab results to anesthesia professionals.
- Support anesthesia providers and the surgical team with technical expertise.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- Required: High School Diploma
- Preferred: High School Diploma with additional training through work experience or education
- Required: Less than one year of relevant job experience
- Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant job experience
- Required: Basic Life Support (CPR)
