Lead Traveling Retail Merchandiser

Are you a highly motivated and organized individual seeking a challenging role in retail merchandising? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Done Right Merchandising.
Job Description
As a Traveling Retail Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for leading crews of up to 25 individuals and working directly with clients to provide project updates. You will also be responsible for welcoming and training new field employees, scheduling and coordinating with team members, and reading and communicating fixture plans to determine correct placement of all fixtures. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing overhead signage, aisle markers, and other pieces of store décor packages, setting shelves, peg hooks, shelf strips, price labels, and stocking merchandise according to a planogram.
Responsibilities
- Lead crews of up to 25 individuals and work directly with clients to provide project updates.
- Welcome and train new field employees.
- Schedule and coordinate with team members.
- Read and communicate fixture plans to determine correct placement of all fixtures.
- Install overhead signage, aisle markers, and other pieces of store décor packages.
- Set shelves, peg hooks, shelf strips, price labels, and stock merchandise according to a planogram.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, including experience communicating with new crews, new clients, and owners, as well as with company leaders on a regular basis.
- Multiple years' experience installing fixtures in a retail store environment.
- New store and store remodel experience is a must.
- Ability to understand and uphold company policy and maintain a sense of professionalism at all times.
- Ability to get along with others and manage performance and behaviors of a team per company guidelines.
- Must have own reliable transportation (not shared).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and planograms.
- Own and demonstrate safe usage of basic power tools, hand tools, tape measure, chalk line, and levels.
- Ability to safely stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders up to 20 feet high for long periods of time.
- Ability to pass national background check and random drug screenings.
- A valid driver's license and government-issued identification.
