Role Responsibilities

Summary of Duties:

The registered nurse plays a crucial role in patient care by utilizing critical thinking skills to assess and integrate patient data. This position requires the application of evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Demonstrate clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Engage in continuous evaluation of nursing practices to enhance quality of care.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in an intensive care setting or completion of relevant training programs.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Proficiency in managing mechanical ventilators and vasoactive medications.
  • Current RN licensure in the state.
  • Basic and Advanced Life Support certifications.
  • Completion of stroke training upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Experience with advanced cardiac support technologies.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty area.
