Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Bacon County Hospital. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with our laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient units.
• Use aseptic technique to prevent contamination and ensure accurate results.
• Label and process blood samples according to laboratory protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient blood collection processes.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Certificate required.
• Experience preferred but not required.
