Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Developer to join our team at Unreal Gigs. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development process, ensuring that our software products are of the highest quality, and driving innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide guidance and leadership to a team of software developers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Take a lead role in writing and reviewing code, ensuring that it meets the company's standards for quality and maintainability.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
    • Ensure that all development activities are well-coordinated and that the team is aligned with project goals.
  • Mentorship and Team Development
    • Mentor and support junior developers, helping them to grow their skills and advance in their careers.
    • Play a key role in building a strong, capable, and motivated development team.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for improving the development process and implementing best practices.
    • Introduce new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Be the bridge between the technical team and the rest of the organization, ensuring that communication is clear and that everyone is working towards the same objectives.
  • Innovation and Problem Solving
    • Stay on top of the latest technologies and trends, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.
    • Solve complex technical challenges and ensure that our software remains competitive and cutting-edge.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise
    • Extensive experience in software development, with a strong command of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Leadership Excellence
    • Proven experience leading development teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within budget.
  • Project Management Skills
    • Strong project management abilities, particularly in Agile environments.
  • Process Improvement
    • Deep understanding of software development processes and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Communication Skills
    • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role such as Lead Developer, Senior Developer, or similar.
