Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in physical education, special education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification/license in physical education or special education
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational or recreational setting
  • Adapted Physical Education (Cl-623) Added Authorization
  • Knowledge of adaptive physical education principles, techniques, and strategies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and tailor lessons to meet individual student needs
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and equity in physical education
