Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Memphis, Tennessee.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, with a start date of ASAP. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will provide technical assistance to the IR team, perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, and operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor, pass instruments and catheters, observe patient response to procedure, maintain sterile field, interpret and evaluate diagnostic data
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
Requirements
  • Current License in good standing
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
  • Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
