Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will support the Senior Accountant in applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to financial documentation. This role involves preparing designated reconciliations for evaluation by the Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and review assigned reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively across departments to guarantee precise and timely recording of journal entries for assigned general ledger accounts.
- Participate in month-end closing activities and possess a solid understanding of reconciliation processes and necessary correcting entries.
- Utilize financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel) proficiently to manage financial data.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in private accounting.
- Strong ability to interpret and convey financial information to ensure adherence to GAAP.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
